After breakfast, we drove to Pondicherry. It’s a former French colony. The city was under French rule until 1954 and now reflects a bohemian chic feel with quiet cobbled streets and mustard yellow colonial houses.

We stopped along the way to look at some salt mines. Very interesting.

Sandeep our guide treated us to fresh coconuts ! It was delicious!
