Today we traveled by coach to the medieval city of Toledo which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The old town is a treasure chest of churches, museums, synagogues and mosques set in a labyrinth of narrow streets, plazas and interior courtyards.

We spent the day here, visiting the Cathedral

the Sinagoga del Transito

and the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz.

There was even a little time for marzipan shopping!



As well as admiring crafts

We finished with lunch Spanish style – starting at 2pm!

Leaving Toledo we admired the spectacular view across the river Tagus



Everyone is happy to have free time for the rest of the afternoon and evening to relax and shop.
